point light holds in its collection the work of twenty or so photographic artists, mostly Australian, alongside some distinguished Americans. The photographs are stored in Solander boxes in the gallery and are available for viewing on request.
We usually present eight different exhibitions each year, some solo and some group shows on a theme. Solo shows can be either new images by one of our own photographers or a body of work from an artist we've invited to exhibit.
The gallery is small and intimate, with space on the walls for about 35 photographs. Visitors are encouraged to linger, contemplate what they see and perhaps discuss their thoughts and feelings with us if they are so moved.
