In the span of thirty years producing and directing
television commercials, one particular campaign lives
on in my memory and in the memory of many of my contemporaries
from the seventies. I was assigned a task which was to
become a love - to interpret the city of Rome through
my eyes. The client was Alitalia. And now, twenty years
later, the 35mm Arriflex, the lights, the dolly and the
crew have been swapped for an old Rollei with an uncoated
lens, [and I am] revisiting locations on foot, loving
the city as much, if not more. |
