Linda Connor is an American photographer who is widely acknowledged
and acclaimed for her unique visual style. Taking photographs
with a large format view camera in exotic locations, contact
printing the images using sunlight, then gold-toning the prints,
Connor achieves rich and glorious results.
The Museum of Modern Art (New York), Art Institute of Chicago,
San Francisco MOMA, National Gallery of Canada and Victoria
and Albert Museum (London) are just a few of the more than
forty major art institutions which have acquired Connor's
photographs. Her work has been shown in over seventy solo
exhibitions including at the following venues:-

Not only have Connor's photographs been exhibited in hundreds
of group shows throughout the world but also in dual shows
with two other master photographers, Harry Callahan and Aaron
Siskind.
Amongst the catalogues and monographs about Connor is an
award winning limited edition publication from the Whitney
Museum (New York, 1996) entitled "On the Music of the Spheres"
with poems by Charles Simic and photographs by Connor.
